Lyndhurst’s Beaver scouts are holding an evening of tea, coffee, cake and company at St. Michael and All Angels church on Thursday 14th November.

Please come along and support the Beavers working to gain their Community badge. Making an impact in their community – not bad for 6 and 7 year olds!

Thanks to Julie Mair for passing the details along. It would be great to see as many there as possible to support them.

Maintenance day at the 5th.

The 5th Testwood held a maintenance day on Sunday 20th October at their HQ. Thanks go to the many that turned up to dig in and clear a large number of things that needed action, the list was huge. Well done all that were involved.

You can fine out more about what was achieved on their website.

District Beaver Campfire

There was also a District Beaver campfire on Sunday 20th at Copythorne with Beaver scouts from 2nd Stanley’s Own‘s Bartley Water and Cadnam River colonies, 4th Eling and 5th Testwood present.

The campfire was led by our Assistant District Commissioner (Beavers) Jo Stubbington and 5th Beaver Scout Leader Steven Osborn with contributions from George Stubbington, Young Leader at 5th Beavers.

The Beaver learned lots of new songs for the first time and had great fun. Plus some food and drink and glow sticks to add to the atmosphere.
