Firstly, a huge congratulations to Lorna Cotter, Assistant Cub Scout Leader at 4th Eling Waingunga Cub Pack, on being presented with her Gold DofE Award.

She also received her Explorer Belt at the annual end of term BBQ and games evening at Bolderwood enclosure, a joint event with the 4th Eling and 5th Testwood Cub Packs. Lorna was also a Young Leader Buckle holder and completed her Wood Badge training in July this year, what’s next Lorna?

You should be very proud of your dedication, hard work and achievements.


Also huge congratulations to Adam Bowen, Assistant Cub Scout Leader at 4th Eling Waingunga Cub Pack, who has completed his Gold DofE. Hopefully we will have some pictures from Adam soon too. Adam was also a Young Leader Buckle holder. It is amazing seeing these fantastic examples of #SkillsForLife

Update: Steven Osborn, Beaver Scout Leader at 5th Testwood also recently received his Gold DofE.

Steven was also a Young Leader Buckle recipients as often gets mentioned at Module A training courses. Apologies for missing him out originally. No excuses from me as Steven only recently showed me his Certificate and picture!
